I'm a home bird. Always have been and probably always will be. Luckily for me, preferring to stay within my grounds doesn't limit my chances of seeing beautiful places. There are so many wonderful cities, towns and areas of the UK that deserve to be explored and enjoyed. Here are the top 6 UK locations that are on my bucket list to visit...

The Southern coast is definitely one of the places that I feel I HAVE TO visit at some point in my life. I think my parents took us on a family home when I was young, but I'd love to go again and really indulge in the Cornish culture. Not only the beaches and sunshine, but the food delicacies such as Ice Cream, Cream Tea and Cider

I know, I know, the sound of 'Brighton' is ringing in everyone's ears lately because the place is becoming more and more popular for tourists (most probably since the rise of teen influencers settling there). But, as much as you may dislike 'following the crowd', Brighton still looks like a gorgeous city to visit. I think, for me, it would be less about the beach, and more about the architecture and the quirky shops. Although, Brighton is around 6 hours drive away from me, so I'll have to start saving up.

Whilst we're talking about places that have seen a rise in tourists because of Teen Influencers (I'm looking at you, Zoella), I might as well throw Bath in the mix. This is a place that my family and I have always wanted to visit because, as well as being a stunning, historical place, it's almost like a large-scale home-from-home to us as it's very similar to Durham.

Again, this is a location that I have been fortunate to visit before but I would love to visit again. Anyone who knows me knows about my adoration for wild nature and the wilderness so The Lake Distract is like Heaven to me. I'd love to go in the spring time, during lambing season, or in the summer when the weather is better for hill top picnics in the middle of nowhere.

Honestly, I am embarrassed to say that I didn't really know Lincoln existed until a few months ago. My friend at college is due to move there in a few weeks time for University and I am really hoping that I'll get the chance to visit because it looks like such a cute city. Part of me reads vibes of York city when I see pictures of Lincoln and, if it's anything like York, then I'll definitely LOVE it there.

Just like the Lake District, this place is a magnificent bundle of rural brilliance but, this time, with a lot more Historical interest. The Cotswolds include come of the most grand castles and stately homes, as well as quaint, thatched villages, and canals. I feel like this will be a summer 'tour' adventure one year.

Where about's in the UK do you wish to visit?
