The Clothes Show Live

On Saturday 6th December I headed down to Birmingham for The Clothes Show Live. For those who don't know: CSL is an event held in the NEC Birmingham and it is a place where established and upcoming brands show case their products - it's also a great celebrity hotspot! I went with my friends Lucy and Millie.

Here's how the trip went:

We set off very early. On the journey down the sun was rising which was really pretty. The journey was around 3 hours.

We got there at around 12 o'clock and O M G!! The atmosphere immediately struck me of how excited everyone was. There was shops everywhere from fashion to beauty to double-decker-buses. The first thing we did was walk around to find our bearings then pin pointed our favourite areas.

We were then magnetically drawn to the beauty stands which had amazing deals on goodie bags and products. Ciate had 10 nail polishes for £10, W7 had 5 products for £10 and Rimmel had £5 make overs. My favourite part was the goodie-bag deals which were amazing. Models own had a £10 goodie-bag worth £65, BarryM had a £10 goodie-bag worth £60, Cosmopolitan gave goddie-bags away with magazine purchases, Rimmel had a £10 goodie-bag worth over £30. I chose to get a Rimmel, Como Mag, Clothes Show and Barry M goodie bag.

I will eventually show all of the fantastic products that I got in future posts!!

Next was the celebrity spotting to which we saw a lot. The pictures above are of some of the Made In Chelsea and TOWIE cast.

From Made In Chelsea we saw: Jamie Laing who was really funny and sassy, Millie Macintosh who was dressed amazingly and Spencer Mathews... do I need to say much about him ;)

From TOWIE we saw Amy Childs at her shop, the adorable Joey Essex and Mario Falcone to which I just fangirled over the fact that his brother-in-law is Tom Fletcher.

To have a break from shopping and celeb spotting we decided to go and grab front seats at the Graduate Catwalk which was great. The show lasted half an hour and showcased work from colleges across the country. The images above were my favourite pieces.

Our seats were great and were about to better because...

The oh-so-dreamy Alfie Deyes turned up for a Q&A which was really enjoyable because it was very calm and relaxed and he was really lovely. Pst- I might be in his Vlogmas vlog of that day, eek!!

We also watched a Q&A with blogger and vlogger, Fleur De Force who may have let us all know that she has a big ideas for a beauty collection, ooo exciting!!

The Show was not how I expected at all. With being in a big theater I was expecting the fashion show to be a bit hard to focus on but this was a fashion/dance/music melody! The models were so energetic and the fashion was all themed. The lack of clothes on some of the six-packed hunks was my favourite part ;)

I was ecstatic at how fantastic the day went. We were given tonnes of freebies at the end too.
After having dreamt of going to CSL for years I'm really grateful that I got to go this year.

If you ever get the opportunity to go then I recommend you say yes because it's such a joyful experience.

Have you ever been to The Clothes Show?
