Review: Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter

I was looking for a cuticle oil for a while. At the time I was using the minture out of a 'gelish' set. I'd never been big on cuticle health until I started using cuticle oils. I started looking for a new cuticle health product, I came across the Essie Apricot one and the Body Shop almond cuticle pen. It was between the two.

Then suddenly *dramatic music* I came across Lush's Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter.

I first heard about this product here where it was part of an August favourite video. I had never seen a cuticle butter!! (Yes, I must have been living under a rock). Then one day I went shopping, I payed Lush a visit and was over the moon that the product was there.

It's was a fairly good price of just £6.50/50g. This is a great price because you use a tiny bit at a time and it'll will definitely last for a while.

The smell! OMG, it is out of this world. It smells more lemon than lemons do. The smell is rich and zesty and if you put it on your hands, it will leave you sniffing your lemony hands all day.

The butter is quite thick, especially the first layer and it's very creamy. This butter is veeeeery oily, I usually apply it to my cuticles then rub any excess on my elbows or dry skin around the body.

Which leads me to saying, how much of a perfect little multitasker this pot of wonder is. It tackles any form of dryness, from your toes, feet, knees, elbows, cuticles and even, split hair ends. I was so shocked when I found out that this cuticle butter can be used to prevent even your hair from drying out.

Lastly, the packing is excellent. It's a small, black, round tub that's pretty thin and will easily to fit into your bag. Once I've finished I'll probably re-use it for something else. However, Lush do accept you to give back the packaging so that they can recycle.

If you are looking for a new cuticle care product, this is what you're looking for!!
